Retaining wall manufacturers use AMD's, Authorized Manufacturer Distributors, licensees, to distribute their brand of retaining wall block to the public. These local distributors, licensees, produce the blocks at their plant to sell at the local level so the product doesn't have to be shipped all over the country.
The manufacturers, licensor, will license, authorize, these local distributors, licensees, to produce and distribute their brand of segmental retaining wall block to be used in the residential, commercial or industrial applications.
The local contractor will purchase the retaining wall block from these distributors to be installed.
The distributor warranties the product it produces. The contractor will warranty their construction.
Most of these distributors produce concrete pavers also. |
